In 1993 she began performing in hardcore movies after being invited to look in on a scene. She was signed as an exclusive performer for the Wicked Pictures studio and soon became one of the most popular new stars in porn. She won New Starlet of the Year awards from AVN, XBIZ and FOXE and during her long career has earned dozens of nominations from her debut year through 2009. 

 

Jenna landed a starring role in the 1997 film "Howard Stern: Private Parts" and over the following years appeared more than 30 times with Howard on his various radio shows. All stemming from an idea that Jenna had to mail him a nude picture of herself in the hopes that he might invite her to be interviewed. Her business sense and ability to promote herself has served her very well all throughout her career and this this is only one early example of it in action.

 

In the year 2000 she founded the company and website called Club Jenna which offered members not only images and video content, but also things like advice columns and even stock tips. One of the first movies produced by the company was "Brianna Loves Jenna" and features Ms. Jameson herself along with Brianna Banks. The movie included the first male / female fuck scene that Jenna had performed in over 2 years and was a hugely popular movie, topping over one million dollars in sales. Jenna sold the company to Playboy in 2006 and was also inducted into the AVN pornstar Hall of Fame that year.

 

Jenna Jameson retired from performing in porn movies in 2011 after appearing in more than 160 films. While not the most prolific performer she is by far the most famous pornstar of the modern age and has earned her nickname "Queen of Porn."
