One of the biggest names in XXX porn, Jenna Haze began her porn career at the age of 19 in 2001 and has gone on to appear in over 540 titles for nearly every major studio in the industry and has won several dozen major porn awards.

 

Born in February 1982 and primarily raised in Los Angeles County, California Jenna was a good student, receiving high grades in school until she reached junior high when, as she puts it:  “I discovered boys and sex”.  She dropped out of school at the age of 15 and had to receive homeschooling.  Working a series of low wage jobs including stints in fast food, quick oil changes, and retail, upon turning 18 Jenna tried her hand at stripping but was unsatisfied with it as a vocation.  Fate intervened when via a friend of a friend Jenna was offered a spot in a porn production.

 

Her first role was planned to be an oral-only scene in “The Oral Adventures of Craven Moorehead 8” opposite her then-agent Slim Shady and Craven Moorehead, but Jenna got so excited by the action that that she ended up fucking both of her co-stars.  It is this genuine enthusiasm for her craft that has made Jenna such a favorite of fans and industry-types alike and propelled her to the highest echelons of the porn business.

 

Standing at a petite five foot three inches and weighing in under 100 pounds, Jenna’s 32B-22-32 body is toned and tight.  Unlike many in the business, Jenna categorically rejected the prevailing notions of what a pornstar should look like, insisting on maintaining her natural appearance rather than the bleached blonde, implanted and overly styled look that has become something of a deserved stereotype within the adult entertainment business.  Many fans agreed with her assessment and cited Jenna’s natural look as a key aspect of her appeal.

 

Going her own way certainly paid dividends and netted Jenna numerous honors from the industry including an unprecedented sweep of the major industry awards in 2009 when she was crowned “Female Performer of the Year” by XBIZ, AVN and XRCO further cementing her status as true porn royalty.

 

Not content with only being a performer, Jenna began directing in 2005, where she enjoyed success upon success.  Her superstar status was further confirmed by mainstream media attention, starting with being featured in HBO’s six-part documentary “Pornocopia”, a cameo appearance in the hit movie “Superbad” and being prominently featured in a coffee table table book of art photography entitled “Naked Ambition: An R-Rated Look at an X-Rated Industry” which was published in 2007.

 

In 2011 CNBC cited Jenna as “arguably the most popular performer in porn today” and in 2012 she was inducted into AVN’s Hall of Fame.

 

Jenna has gone on to open her own production house, Jennaration X Studios, which gave Jenna complete creative control of her own vertically-integrated multimedia porn empire.  Jenna announced her retirement as a performer in February of 2012, though she continues to be active on the production side of her business and it remains to be seen if she’ll be able to resist the temptation of getting down and dirty again for her adoring fans.
